A bomb threat caused Texas A&M to order an evacuation of all students and faculty from its main campus on Friday.
The university said it issued a "Code Maroon" message?after a general threat to the campus in College Station, Texas, was received around 11:34 a.m. No details about the threat were released.
Classes were canceled for the rest of the day, the university statement said.

The university asked students and faculty to proceed on foot and to not use vehicle, but traffic routes in and out of the campus were jammed, police said. About 50,000 students attend classes on the campus in College Station, about 100 miles northwest of Houston.
