Kroger and UFCW 227 Ratify Agreement in ... - Food and Drink Digital

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Aug. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --?Associates of Kroger Limited Partnership I, an affiliate of The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR), working at its Mid-South Division stores in Kentucky and Southern Indiana, have ratified a new labor agreement with United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 227.

The agreement covers over 12,000 associates working in 81 stores in Louisville, Lexington and throughout most of Kentucky and 6 stores in Southern Indiana. Kroger's Mid-South Division is based in Louisville and it includes 162 stores in Kentucky, Tennessee, southern Indiana and southern Illinois.
