The government reported Friday that the U.S. economy created jobs at the fastest pace in nine months in January and the unemployment rate dropped to 8.3 percent, the lowest in almost three years.

Employers added a net 243,000 jobs last month,?the most since April and far?better than economists' expectations for a gain of only 150,000.

Economists were upbeat in their reaction. "It was a better-than-expected report, the strongest report that we've seen in quite some time," Lindsey Peigza, an?economist at FTN Financial, told Reuters.

Msnbc.com would like to know what you think the report says about the economy. Do you think the recovery is accelerating?
